Privoice · Vertical Lodge S.R.L.

Datenschutzerklärung

Stand: 22. Oktober 2026

Kurz gesagt: Privoice erhebt keine Daten.

Unten steht genau, was dabei passiert.

Was auf Ihrem Gerät bleibt

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 October 2026

In short: Privoice collects no data. Your recordings, your text and your settings stay on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no sharing with third parties.

The only connection the app ever makes is the one-time download of the speech models. After that, Privoice works entirely offline. The details are below.

What stays on your device

All processing happens on your iPhone or iPad. That includes:

This data lives in a protected container that only Privoice and its keyboard can reach. We have no access to it. Deleting the app deletes it with them.

The one connection: downloading the models

Privoice needs speech-recognition and language models that are too large to ship inside the app. On first launch it downloads them from huggingface.co, operated by Hugging Face, Inc. (USA).

As with opening any website, your IP address reaches that provider, along with which file is being requested. We send no information about you, your device or your usage. No account is used and no identifier is attached that would make you recognisable.

What Hugging Face itself records is determined by them; see their privacy policy.

This happens once, and again only if you choose to download a further model. After that, Privoice runs with no internet connection at all. You can verify this by switching on airplane mode — the app keeps working exactly as before.

What does not exist

The keyboard

The Privoice keyboard has no access to the microphone — iOS does not permit this for keyboard extensions at all. It only inserts text the app prepared beforehand. It does not read what you type in other apps, and it transmits nothing.

Purchases and subscription

In-app purchases are handled by Apple. Your payment details go to Apple, not to us — we see neither your name nor your payment method. From Apple we receive only aggregated sales figures that cannot be linked to individuals.

Crash reports

If you have agreed to share with app developers under Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements in iOS Settings, Apple provides us with technical crash reports: device model, system version and where in the program the failure occurred. Dictated content is never included. That setting belongs to Apple and can be turned off there at any time.

Outbound links

The licence section of the app links to the project pages of the open-source libraries it uses. Tapping such a link opens your browser and loads that page, where their terms apply rather than ours.

Legal basis and your rights

Because we do not collect, store or process personal data, there is no processing under the GDPR about which we could give you information, or that we could correct or erase. There is simply nothing held on our side.

Transmitting your IP address during the model download is technically necessary for the requested file to reach your device (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

If you have questions regardless, write to apps@verticallodge.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

Children

Privoice is not directed at children, and collects data from no one, whatever their age.

Changes

If how the app works changes, we update this policy and change the date at the top. Material changes are announced inside the app.
